Reverend Sharon Allmond
| Reverend Sharon Allmond was ordained in 2002 after
attending Unity's Ministerial Education Program. She served as minister at Unity
of Irving in Irving, Texas until 2006, when she moved back to St. Louis to be
with her family during her mother's illness. She serves as Associate Minister
here at First Unity Church teaching classes, performing weddings, and speaking.
Prior to the ministry, Sharon retired from Southwestern
Bell Telephone Company, now AT&T. She left with over thirty years service,
most of which was in Information Services. She was a project leader and later
an instructor in the technical education department. After retirement, Sharon
attended graduate school and earned a master's degree in counseling, which has
proved to be very valuable in her ministerial vocation. Rev
Sharon is available for counseling by calling or emailing the church office to
set up an appointment.
